Visitors

Griffin has had a lot of visitors! He is definitely loved. My sister and brother and their families both came to meet him in the hospital the next day. It's so fun to see all my nieces and nephews get so excited about their new cousin!

We got home from the hospital on the 30th so we actually spent our first day and a half just the 3 of us and we survived! And then my mom flew in from Madrid where my parents are currently serving a mission on the 1st of July. In fact that was my induction date and they bought the ticket really just a few hours before my water broke because it seemed like I was nowhere close to going into labor. We were lucky to have here here for 2 weeks! She pretty much took care of all the cooking, cleaning, laundry and sewing ;) Yes, I had a project waiting for her. She graciously sewed me a carseat cover, which I adore. And she would take Griffin whenever we needed a break. It was so nice having her here. The rest of my family also came into town for the 4th of July weekend. Both of my sister's and their families (minus Ryan) drove from Seattle and Sacramento to meet Griffin and to see my mom.

Griffin is lucky to have so many adoring cousins! Here he is with Cecily and Oliver. Sadly, we are just missing a pic of him with Cora :( I guess they will just need to come again soon.

It was great timing because there was a Wagner family reunion going on at Bear Lake so we got visitors as they were heading up to the reunion and back down. And Mark's mom was able to stay with us after the reunion which was right after my mom left as well. So again, we still didn't have to do any cooking or cleaning for another week or so ;) It was so nice to just have an extra set of hands for almost 3 weeks. Also to pick some brains and get some reassurance that we are doing okay. Thank you sooo much to both our mom's for being willing to help us out!

Both Paul and Kim & kids were able to stop in on their way home from the reunion!

I think that Griffin has officially met all his cousins. Not quite all his aunts and uncles yet, but we'll get there. Thank you to everyone who visited us and helped us out with meals. We love you all!
