Last year we went with the entire Wagner clan to Aspen Grove on a family reunion, and it was just so fun we had to go back. We went with my immediate family this time and just for the mini session, which was Thursday to Sunday.
Thursday we checked in and got settled. We stayed in the Beckham Lodge, which is more like a hotel - with 2 bedrooms and a little sitting area. Everyone had their own rooms except me and Mark, we stayed with my mom and dad since we have no children to take up the extra room.
After that, it was dinner and then the Frontier Night, which was a lot of fun! It is a little western village with tons of games and activities, like archery, shooting, knife throwing (scary)! The kids loved the train, as did some of the adults. Even when the train had to get an extra push to get started with them on it ha! It was chilly Thursday night, but after that I thought the weather was pretty great.
